Family Tradition.... only gets better every year....:)

Every year as of late, my family started this amazing... FAMILY TRADITION... about 4-5 years ago we started going up on the mountain and cutting down our own christmas tree.One year we went up with my aunt and uncles family, and our quad trailer had a flat tire. haha but that year the weather was perfect. Another year we went we had a pretty good year it was a blast! We were able to play on our quads and get a good tree. We have LEARNED that the earlier in the year we go, the better. Unlike our attempt to find a christmas tree today. you see last year, there was too much snow. so we hiked a couple miles in a foot of snow to find out CHRISTMAS tree! tell me is this worth it?? oh plus we always take our good family pictures! haha.. This year, im pretty sure we only got family pictures out of this trip. It was windy as can be, and COLLLLDDDDD!! we tried to have a good time but we all got way too cold. and we got the quads stuck hard core. It was basically a white out! we couldnt see five feet in front of us. but ya... we probably got each quad stuck at least five times and then our trip was OVER! we headed home to thaw out! haha... The family tradition just only seems to get better every year!! Flat tires, cold wind, stuck quads, hiking in the cold snow, ... all just to find a tree!i also forgot to mention that this turns into a family contest every year. we pick at least three trees. and vote! I ALWAYS WIN THIS..haha..well.. ya.. ALWAYS! lol..! But you know something!?? i will always remember these memories with my amazing family!

ps. now its going to be even more fun to take pictures of the look on my moms face when we have to get our tree from a TREE LOTTT!!!! ... its not the end of the world mom!
