An Apple a Day.. Keeps the Smiles today!

hahaha! OK..so most of you know i am working at Houston elementary! i love it there! its so fun! well You know there is that old myth that students bring teachers Apples! really honestly...never in my time of school had i ever seen and apple given to a teacher!.. and i must say i have just had quite the interesting week! i wont talk about it, but its been kind of a downer! anyways.. On wednesday.. This little boy in my afternoon kindergarden..said Ms. Kilie, i have something for you! i was like what sweetie, and he pulls out an apple! I really had a HUGE SMILE ON my face the rest of the day! it made my entire week! ALso in the same day, he had gone to the art center, and drew me two pictures! what a sweetie! .. The lord knows whats going on in our days..and this is just a tender mercy! its totally the little things that matter the most! ill never forget the day that this little boy gave me an APPLE! :)

Exhausted...

HOly... Cow!! haha... well umm.. my mom says my nights and days are mixeed up! and boy was she right.. haha for a month and half... i have been off work, and school! And i was sleeping till noon and staying up or out till 3, or even pulling all nighters! haha.. welp... Out went that idea! Now my life consisits of work from 7:30 AM to 3:15pm and then i leave for School at 4:00 PM and dont get home till TEN PM on mondays, tuesdays, and wednesday. So by thursdays, after work...im hittin the sac! i know ill get used to my new routine...but man im EXHAUSTED. haha i shouldnt be complaining, everyone else probably has crazier lives than i do, but going from no routine, and lots of freetime, to having no freetime, and a hard core routine:) .. haha.. i guess ill just have to get used to it:) ... and what makes it worth it!!?? i loveeee my job!!! I work at Houston Elem. with my mom, and i spend mornings with pre-school, and afternoons with kindergarten!oh and i cross guard.. cant forget the coolest part of my job!...NOT! haha and i am also loving schooL! My professors are great, and i like all my classes and the girls in my program! :) .. it helps that i love it! but im soo tired ..haha

Snow Dayz

Playing in the Snow is always so fun! A day over this break, we went sledding with my cousin Ev, and her two boys and thier two friends! It was pretty fun i must say, however i have completely lost my edge for snow fun! haha.. Ever since i was put in the hospital with my cousin danny last time we were sledding, haha.. i decided to just relax and mediate this time!Evvie and I decided we are not quite the dare devils we used to be;)

What a fun outing! the kids sure enjoyed it:)
ps. in the pictures... the adults in the tubes are faking it! ha..we never really went down the hills! and also... we thought we were genious in making the family pyramid..but it pretty much was FREEZING and hard! haha...

Bitter Sweet!!!

SO.... here is the deal... I love without any doubt, this.... they are fun roommates too! But.. its a bitter sweet feeling!!

















But im going to miss this soo much!!I miss having something to do everynight! i miss talking to my roomies, and all the fun we had!! I have been pondering all my memories lately! ..However..as much as i miss it, i know i made the right decision! School rocks, i love my program, and my new job. its all working out perfect! but i feel a bit rediculous, and i have to say.. i miss flagstaff!

the "wall"

well.. umm those of you who know me very well.. know that i have this wall of fame in my room that has been up for about six years now! it started from scratch my freshman year of high school and just grew with updates and trinkets i have saved.it was my pride and joy..i dont know how many times my mom tried to get me to take it down.. haha It was my own little scrapbook!... well... dun dun dun.... i am growing up.. :(.. and i took it all down:(... it remains in my box! .. i will always refer to that box as im sure later on.. ill look back and laugh.. by my room just isnt the same! HERE ARE SOME PHOTOS OF THE "WALL"....i will post more of what my room looks like after.

Christmas Season!

I love Christmas, the season of family and the feeling of holiday is just awesome! We have a few Christmas traditions! One of which is to have dinner and then go to the temple lights and get hot chocolate after!! We have been doing this ever since i can remember! We usually either watch luke two at the visitors center, or we come home and read it! This year we watched luke two at the visitors center. I just love temple grounds! I love going there to just think about life! Its so peaceful! Lately i have been contemplating going on a mission alot, so as i was listening to the sister missionaries bear thier testimonies i just thought to myself i could see myself doing that! it was neat, the spirit was very strong! i even shed a few personal tears as i took a few shots of this amazing building, because i have not visited the temple grounds in a long time. When you go from going twice a week, to moving far away and hardley going at all, its a rough transition. Anyways, after all the festivities, we come home and we get to open 1 present, which almost never fails to be our Christmas eve Pajama's! last year we all matched, but this year we didnt! oh well! it's still fun!
Christmas morning is always EARLY at our house! Growing up, it gets later and later, but this year, for some reason i was the first one up! So i woke up Jenson and marlie at six, and we enjoyed our morning together as a family! Even though Santa has always given us a big christmas, i love just the feeling of being with my family all day and enjoying the traditions of the holidays! Presents dont matter! Santa brought our family a WII so that has brought alot of competition in our home but we love it! all in all it was a great christmas:):) I hope you all enjoyed it too!:)

blog neglection

Alright alright, i feel like i have neglected my blog! haha... i have had lots of time to think about the new year, and i have had a month off of life and i have loved every second of it!! i am going to break this up into sections so its not one LONGG blog because i know its hard to read a long blog entry!!.. anyways.. sorry for neglecting you all. I wanted to let ya know.. im doing great:) and lots of things have happened to change the course of my life, and i have had a good break! so il let you know what i have been up to:)also.. i broke my camera at my grandma's funeral. So i have been fighting to share my moms camera with her..she is not very good at sharing;) imagine that! after teaching it to her kids for years. lol... anyways.. so..sorry for the lack of picture post also!

2009!!!

Well can you all believe that January has come?? Because i really cant! Its been a crazy 2008!! and now its 2009! which means i have been out of high school for two years almost? Holy cow, where is time going? Well, I am excited for this new year and to see what is in store! last night i wrote down alot of my goals, and reflected on 2008 goals...its kind of over whelming to reflect on the previous year, but exciting to start the new year all at once! My motto this year, i have decided has to be COME WHAT MAY AND LOVE IT!! Life has so many things in store for you, and so does God, and sometimes that doesnt always go hand in hand with our own plans, so i pray that everyone, and myself will have the strength to do what they believe is right ALWAYS, and to follow whats in thier hearts! the lord has a plan for everyone, whether its what we want or not:) SO now i have to say BRING ON 2009!!!!!!!!
